Maikaru and A Dose for Dominic are going strong at different film festivals coming up. Here are a couple of ways you can check them out.
May is a busy month for A Dose for Dominic. You can check it out at the following festivals and on PBS here in Washington.
Want to see “A Dose for Dominic,” ask me questions about it, and drink beer at the same time? Then head to Naked City Brewery in Seattle on Sunday at 7pm. This is part of our award for winning the Audience Award at Local Sightings last October. More information here.
A Dose for Dominic will be playing at the Athens International Film and Video Festival hosted by my alumna institution, Ohio University.

Just got word that A Dose for Dominic will be playing at the Show Me Justice Film Festival at the University of Central Missouri in April. Here are all the details from the organizers:
We are very happy to accept your film, A Dose for Dominic, for the 4th Annual Show Me Justice Film Festival, April 10-12, 2014 on the campus of the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Missouri. It is an amazing film that we’re very excited to program into the festival. Thanks for submitting it! We tentatively plan to screen your film in our closing day shorts program on Saturday, April 12, at 2pm.
Super excited to have our little film play in the heartland!
A Dose for Dominic won the Audience Award at Local Sightings last October and it’s a funny story about how I just found out about it… five months later.
Going to the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival in Missoula? Make sure to check out the International Documentary Challenge program on Sunday February 23rd at 10:00am in Wilma 1. The program includes my award-winning short A Dose for Dominic.
I am elated to announce that A Dose for Dominic will be included in season 4 of Reel Northwest, a PBS show that airs on KCTS in Washington.
I Saw U, a short that I co-produced, was a part of the first season of Reel Northwest in 2011.
This exciting news was also covered on the Ohio University School of Film blog, the program where I earned my MFA in Film way back in 2005.
