It is an amazing film that we’re very excited to program into the festival. Thanks for submitting it! Dominic Wins… Er… Won!

A Dose for Dominic won the Audience Award at Local Sightings last October and it’s a funny story about how I just found out about it… five months later.

Women Ski Jumpers Make History!

On Tuesday February 11th female ski jumpers made history as they competed on the 95 meter hill in the Olympic Games in Sochi. Two-thirds of team USA included Jump like a Girl athletes Lindsey Van and Jessica Jerome.

A shorter version of Jump like a Girl will be airing on Alaska Public Media in March.

Jessica placed 10th, Lindsey 15th. Silver medalist Daniela Iraschko-Stolz (Austria), who busted out an impressive 104.5 meter jump in the second round to reach the medal stand, is also featured in JLAG.

Congrats to all the ladies who competed. You made history. You showed the world what it means to Jump like a Girl. I am so proud that you let me tell a part of your story.

Dominic to Air on PBS

I am elated to announce that A Dose for Dominic will be included in season 4 of Reel Northwest, a PBS show that airs on KCTS in Washington.

I Saw U, a short that I co-produced, was a part of the first season of Reel Northwest in 2011.

This exciting news was also covered on the Ohio University School of Film blog, the program where I earned my MFA in Film way back in 2005.

I look forward to announcing the days and times that the film will air! Stay tuned for more info.
